During March 2003 I qualified as a Driving Instructor through the college of Driving in Derby.

Sixty hours of tuition are required for the final practical test and despite the demanding exams and rigourous practical assesment I passed on my first attempt and earned the title of "Approved Driving Instructor"

Pass Plus is a course that may be taken after the student has passed their practical test. This course is very highly recommended as it covers many aspects of driving that are only covered lightly or not at all during the standard driving course.

There is no test, just continual assessment of your improving skills as we build up your confidence and knowledge as a roaduser. We will be working through the modules that make up the course covered over a minimum of 6 hours driving.

Because the Pass Plus course is approved by the DSA there is an added bonus that many insurance companies will offer a reduction in your car insurance premium (usually equivalent to one years no claims bonus) on completion of the Pass Plus course.
